Describing the duties of someone maintaining and upgrading
the entire LON-CAPA specification.  This is not an
exhaustive list of duties, but is a general guide
for what tasks are commonly expected.

**** Dissemination ****

* Maintain, develop and update the install.lon-capa.org web site.
  * includes the /home/ftpmirror directory and the /home/loninst directory
* Maintain, develop and update installation instructions
* Maintain, develop and update an installation CD-ROM
* Maintain, develop and update upgrade instructions
* Maintain, develop and update testing scripts

**** LON-CAPA files ****

* update doc/loncapafiles/loncapafiles.lpml whenever
   * new files are added
* manage the source-compile-installation mechanism as defined by
  loncom/build and doc/loncapafiles

**** System Dependencies ****

* update loncom/build/system_dependencies/cpan_distributions.txt and
       loncom/build/system_dependencies/perltest.pl
       whenever
   * cpan packages get updated and/or
   * perl modules needed by the LON-CAPA code change

* update doc/install/*/install.pl
   * RPMs are added to the expected LON-CAPA distribution
