LON-CAPA System Verification

Current System Verification Procedure (Almost)

System verification is done through the command cp /usr/sbin/loncapaverify. This script checks two things:

The integrity and status of LON-CAPA application files (specific for running the LON-CAPA application).
The integrity and status of software packages on the system (RPMs).

A report is placed in /home/httpd/html/dev/index.html for viewing on the world-wide web.

Future System Verification Procedure (not yet implemented)

In the future, this script will be incorporated into loncron and will part of the overall machine status report (/home/httpd/html/lon-status/index.html).
