LON-CAPA has it's own vocabulary. The first few pages of this course will explain these terms. All of the key words are in bold.

The second part of this course will go over the basic problem types you can code into LON-CAPA and give an example of each for you to try out as a student.

Use the Remote Control to navigate and access tools in your course.

• To browse this course, click on the arrow keys on the remote control. Click on the NAV button to be brought to a Navigation screen of the course resources.
• If you want to post questions or comments on a resource for the instructor and other students to see, then click the FDBK button on the remote control.
• The COM button can be used to read and send messages to other users. For example, you can send a message to felicia@workshop where "felicia" is a username and "workshop" is the domain.
• After trying out a few problems, you can click "GRDS" to view your points in the course.
• Once you feel you are comfortable with LON-CAPA, feel free to click other buttons on the remote control to try out.
