<p>LON-CAPA has it's own vocabulary.  The first few pages of this course will explain these terms.  All of the key words are in <b>bold</b>.</p>
<p>The second part of this course will go over the basic problem types you can code into LON-CAPA and give an example of each for you to try out as a student.</p>
<p>Use the <b>Remote Control</b> to navigate and access tools in your course.
<ul>
   <li>To browse this course, click on the arrow keys on the remote control.    
   Click on the <b>NAV</b> button to be brought to a <b>Navigation</b> screen 
   of the course resources. </li>
   <li>If you want to post questions or comments on a resource for the 
   instructor and other students to see, then click the <b>FDBK</b> button on 
   the remote control.</li>
   <li>The <b>COM</b> button can be used to read and send messages to other 
   users.  For example, you can send a message to felicia@workshop 
   where "felicia" is a username and "workshop" is the domain.</li>
   <li>After trying out a few problems, you can click "GRDS" to view your  
   points in the course.</li>
   <li>Once you feel you are comfortable with LON-CAPA, feel free to click 
   other buttons on the remote control to try out.</li>
