- Support swig 4.2
  - specifying target language as arg in %typemap no longer supported.
  - use of $source and $target in typemap declaration no longer supported.

- BUG#2826 $result=capa::caparesponse_get_real_response($correct_unit,$student_answer,\$scaled_answer);
        - given a unit, and a student answer, $scaled_answer will be set to the floating point number that is what capa would use to compare to the 'correct answer'
        - $result is an interger return code check capaCommon.h for possible values

- that's right in C you need/should declare all variables at the beginning of the function

- when checking unit,sigfig etctera, we want to tell the student what we think they enetered, need to get the error string out of the C code and into perl space.
- Still need to do something with the message but at lest we have it now
